The Meteo Esc E + model was created in 2007 as a demonstrator of the capabilities of the innovative FOM-IC technology and, as a result, received a material that is resistant to weather and road changes. FOM-IC is a rubber based on a heat-resistant polymer highly enriched with quartz sand. In addition to being soft in cold weather, with such a composition the tire has a reduced rolling resistance, which is valuable not only from an environmental point of view (as reflected in the E + mark), but also from an economic point of view, since this indicator directly affects fuel costs. In addition, due to the peculiarities of the structure, the rubber "bites" more effectively into icing, creating all the conditions for shortening the braking distance on ice and packed snow.
