Despite the formidable name (translated as firehawk, this means “fiery falcon”), in our test these tires turned out to be average. On wet asphalt, Firestone tires allow you to drive your car very confidently. True, the reactions are not as accurate and fast as we would like. The tires “warn” the driver about the start of a slide, but if the car still falls into a deep skid, it is extremely difficult to get it out of there. In such situations, experts often gave up the fight, allowing the car to turn 180°. When there is dry asphalt under the wheels, it is better not to bring things to extreme situations. In extreme modes, the Saab 9-5 reacts too sharply to steering, which requires the driver to have sporty driving skills. But not everyone has them. In terms of noise, Firestone tires are also at an average level - a slight rustle of the tires can be heard mainly at low speeds.
